Intersection Points

The “Intersection Points” tool intersects two input layers and creates outputs intersection points of input layers.

The tool creates intersection points of layers. At that, the same layer as the input layers can be used, and then self intersection points will be created. Input layers must be polygons and polylines. 

Besides, some additional options are available in the tool: 

• Remove duplicates – allows automatically removing duplicates in the output points layer. The option can be useful when intersecting polylines or polygons with the other adjacent polygons which may result in creating duplicate intersection points.
• Use selected features – allows using only selected input features.
